Many of us will celebrate summer with a backyard party, but no one looks forward to spending the days before preparing and the hours afterward cleaning up. And we certainly don't want to desert our guests while we man the grill or finish up the side dishes.
If that sounds familiar, Jonnie G's could be just what you're looking for. The mobile restaurant, which until recently could be found along the beach in Asbury Park, is taking things on the road.

Jonnie G’s Rides Mobile Restaurant Boom at Jersey Shore-- Switching Focus to Private Parties and Events
Winner of Best Food Truck in Monmouth for Comfort in 2013 and
Runner Up for Best Burger
OCEAN, NJ June 17, 2015—Inspired by the boom in demand for mobile restaurants at the Shore, Jonnie G’s is shifting gears from its traditional focus on beach service to private parties and events all across Central New Jersey.
“Parties and events are where we shine. Over the past year the demand has been huge, but with our commitment to the beach over the weekend, we couldn’t fulfill all those requests” notes Rose Grossman, who with her husband Jon Grossman owns Jonnie G’s.
“Now our schedule will allow us to take on more of these events, where we are particularly suited,” she added. “People like being guests at their own party. By hiring us, people get quality food without the bother of planning, cooking, and setting up. Guests still get excellent food, and but it’s much easier on the host.”

Jonnie G's brings party to you
OCEAN TOWNSHIP – Jon and Rose Grossman want event organizers and party hosts to feel more like guests.
The township couple, more specifically, want the architects of social gatherings to forget about providing entertainment, food, nonalcoholic drinks, paper products, trash removal and everything else that may normally distract them from a hassle-free time.
Instead, the Grossmans will take care of all of the above and more through the small business that they started in 2003 — Jonnie G's Food and Movies on the Go. From fairs to sporting events, the couple brings the party to all types of social functions from the inside of a 20-by-8-foot trailer, which resembles a mobile restaurant kitchen with a grill, freezers, fryers and a refrigerator, among other mass-cooking essentials.
